Viola Davis Lengkapi Kemenangan EGOT dengan Grammy Awards
Viola Davis, Beyonce, dan Kim Petras mencatat rekor baru di Grammy Award 2023

Malam penganugerahan Grammy awards 2023 rupanya membawa catatan baru pada sejarah. Viola Davis berhasil memenangkan Grammys Award dalam kategori Best Audio Book untuk buku autobiografinya yang berjudul “Finding Me”. Kemenangan ini membuat Viola Davis melengkapi daftar kemenangan EGOT, yaitu Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, dan Tony Awards.

Grammy Awards 2023 menjadi momen Beyonce menggeser Georg Solti sebagai pemilik piala Grammy terbanyak. Georg Solti memiliki 31 piala sedangkan Beyonce telah membawa pulang 32 piala, setelah menambahkan empat piala baru malam itu di kategori Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, dan Best Dance/Electronic Music Album.

Kim Petras juga mengukir sejarah baru pada kategori Best Pop Duo/Group. Berduet bersama Sam Smith pada lagu “Unholy” membawa Kim Petras sebagai transpuan pertama yang memenangkan kategori tersebut.
